Pediatric care that looks deeper.
Whether you are welcoming a newborn, searching for a more holistic approach to pediatric care, or trying to understand why symptoms keep coming back, Serenity Pediatric Wellness offers unhurried, holistic care for children from birth through young adulthood.
Some children are thriving. Some are stuck in a cycle. Both deserve careful care.
Families come here for different reasons: a new baby, a healthy child who needs a pediatrician, or symptoms that have been treated again and again without anyone asking what might be underneath.
The care is always unhurried, practical, and holistic. I combine modern medicine with the time-honored wisdom of traditional healing, looking beyond symptoms to better understand the many factors that influence a child’s health and well-being.
How can we help your family?
You do not need to know exactly what kind of visit you need before reaching out. Most families simply know they want more time, more clarity, and a pediatrician who can help them sort through the next step.
Looking for answers?
Some symptoms improve for a while, only to return again and again. Focused care plans are for families who want to look deeper at eczema, allergies, asthma, gut issues, recurrent illness, feeding challenges, ADHD concerns, and other patterns that keep circling back.
Your child can keep their current pediatrician while we work together on a clear, personalized plan.
Welcoming a new baby?
The early weeks can be beautiful, exhausting, and full of questions. Newborn medicine services include feeding support, breastfeeding concerns, reflux, jaundice follow-up, tongue-tie evaluations, circumcision, newborn home visits, and guidance through the transition home.
Whether this is your first baby or your fifth, you do not have to figure it out alone.
Looking for a pediatric home?
Serenity Pediatric Wellness offers membership-based primary care for children from birth through young adulthood, with longer visits, direct access, same-day and next-day appointments when available, and a thoughtful holistic approach to your child’s health.
The treatment may be necessary. The pattern still deserves attention.
Creams, inhalers, antihistamines, antibiotics, and prescriptions all have their place. I use conventional care when a child needs it. But when the same problem keeps circling back, the symptom may be a signal that something underneath needs support.
That is where root-cause pediatrics becomes useful: not as a replacement for modern medicine, but as an expanded clinical lens with complementary tools.
Where the deeper look often helps.
These are some of the concerns families bring when they want a pediatrician to slow down, connect the dots, and create a practical next step.
For flares that calm, return, and leave families wondering what keeps lighting the match.
Looking for potential drivers of recurrent wheezing episodes, congestion, nighttime coughing, and allergic symptoms, even when using conventional medicine.
For the child who catches everything or takes longer than expected to recover.
Early care for babies and families trying to make sense of the first weeks.
Looking at nutrition, patterns, stooling, stress, and the gut-immune connection.
Helping families understand what is truly concerning and what needs a careful plan.
Thoughtful prevention, development, vaccines, school forms, and the everyday questions of childhood.
A visit should end with clarity, not a pile of vague recommendations and nervous Googling.
Dr. Irissa Rosario, MD
I’m Dr. Irissa Rosario, a board-certified pediatrician and mother of six.
After years caring for children in a variety of settings, I created Serenity Pediatric Wellness to offer the kind of pediatric care I believe families deserve: unhurried visits, thoughtful guidance, and a deeper look at the factors that shape a child’s health.
My practice combines modern medicine with the time-honored wisdom of traditional healing. I have special interests in newborn medicine, feeding challenges, eczema, allergies, asthma, gut health, and holistic wellness, with a focus on nutrition, sleep, environment, and other root contributors that may be affecting how a child feels and functions.
I know what it’s like to sit on both sides of the exam room. That experience shapes every visit.
